Get Your Game On Kevin Cerrone
Kevin is being honored for his 25 years of service with Northwell Health (he’s the guy with the sunglasses on). Let’s help him celebrate his game!

I started as a Staff Physical Therapist in 1991 and was consistently promoted from Orthopaedic Manual Therapist to Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist to Assistant Chief Therapist. Northwell Health’s (back then it was North Shore-LIJ) leadership groomed me to be a future leader, by sending me to numerous leadership courses at CLI, which included becoming a Six Sigma Black Belt.
In addition, they offered me tuition reimbursement which paid for my master’s degree in health administration (MHA) and my doctorate degree in physical therapy (DPT). The mentoring and academic course work I received adequately prepared me for my present role as Administrative Director of Rehabilitation & Orthopaedic Services at Huntington Hospital, which I started in June of 2014.
I believe I stayed in the health system because of the great service it truly strives to achieve, and the financial stability the entire organization provides, necessary for growth and change.
